Inspired by some blog hunting this morning, I decided to log into this old account and pick it up again. Since leaving facebook my Mom has mentioned sorrowfully that she never gets to see my photos anymore, so here you go Mom!

I was so ~~excited~~ freaked out to shoot this wedding. I had decided to go 100% film when a few days before the wedding I panicked. What if my camera leaks light? What if they are all blurry? What if the developers mess up? I couldn't afford to rent a camera (the photos were to be a gift) but thankfully the lovely Sarah lent me her D-80, which along with my film camera managed to do the trick. It wasn't all that I hoped for, but considering that Jesse and Katharina had not even planned on having any photos taken, they were delighted. And I guess they didn't turn out so bad...

So excited for this find! Bought at an Arkansas flea market in exchange for a cheap mountain bike and $25. The only thing I know about it is that it is made by Bauer, Germany. I am guessing that it was made somewhere between the 40's-50's. I only took this photo of it, and now it is in Montana being restored. Anyone have a clue of the worth/history of these bikes? I can't find much about them, even when I search in German.

Sam took a train from Memphis to Montana to visit me!! It was such a good week. Unfortunately he had to go back...and though I was a teary mess, I tromped around this wonderfully filthy little town to take some pictures after seeing him off.

I love that this place exists in the middle of the city. Since it warmed up, I have been biking/walking here daily. On Saturday we went there to skip stones. I stink at skipping stones.

I acquired a lovely little 22mm camera. I was so excited for developing the roll of film I had just taken with it today. It had sweet giraffe pictures on it! Anyways, it decided not to rewind film anymore.

Shooting film can be a little bit heartbreaking.
